EMPATHY IN ACTION: ELTA TEAM BUILDING 2026

The ELTA Madagascar team gathered today at the beautiful FL House Ambatobe for an intensive one-day team-building session centered on a powerful theme: “Empathy in Action.” More than a simple meeting, this special gathering was an opportunity for the team to strengthen relationships, share experiences, and reflect on the values that guide our work as educators, leaders, and members of a professional community. At the heart of the session was the importance of empathy in education and teamwork. Participants explored how true collaboration begins when we move beyond simply listening to others and make the effort to understand their perspectives, challenges, and needs. In a teaching community, empathy allows us to support one another more effectively and to create a more positive, inclusive, and inspiring environment for both colleagues and learners. The day was marked by meaningful conversations, reflection, and a shared commitment to building a stronger ELTA Madagascar community—one where professional growth goes hand in hand with human connection.
