Regional Highlights from Antsirabe and Fianarantsoa

ELTA Madagascar’s regional chapters in Antsirabe and Fianarantsoa continued the spirit of collaboration after the successful meetup in Antananarivo. Teachers came together to exchange practical classroom management strategies, reflect on inclusive care, and strengthen a supportive professional network across Madagascar.

Following the successful ELTA Madagascar meetup held in Antananarivo, the same spirit of collaboration and professional growth continued in our regional chapters. ELTA Madagascar is pleased to share some meaningful moments from the sessions organized in Antsirabe and Fianarantsoa. Across both regions, dedicated English language educators came together to exchange ideas, strengthen professional connections, and reflect on key issues related to teaching and learning. The sessions focused on two important themes: Classroom Management Through Shared Strategies Teachers shared practical and classroom-tested strategies to better support students, manage learning environments, and respond to everyday teaching challenges. Inclusive Care Participants also reflected on the importance of mutual support, inclusion, and care within the teaching community. These discussions helped reinforce the value of building a stronger, more supportive professional network. Highlights from the Regional Chapters Antsirabe Chapter The Antsirabe session took place at The Excelsior School, where participants demonstrated a strong spirit of collaboration, commitment, and community engagement. Fianarantsoa Chapter The Fianarantsoa session was held at the American Space – E-Atiala. Teachers actively contributed to the discussions, bringing valuable insights, dedication, and enthusiasm to the table. ELTA Madagascar warmly thanks the regional coordinators and all educators who took part in these sessions. Their presence, participation, and commitment helped make this weekend a nationwide success. These regional moments remind us that distance is no barrier to professional growth. Together, English language teachers across Madagascar continue to learn, share, and build a stronger community.
