Welcome to the ELTA Madagascar

Our mission

Professional development: Ensure continuous professional development (CPD) for English Teachers and educators through regular training, workshops, publications, seminars and conferences, and develop strategies to ameliorate teachers and students’ engagement and proficiency in English language skills.

Quality Assurance: Work towards maintaining and enhancing the quality of English language teaching and learning by creating and promoting standards for teaching practices and assessment, encouraging strategic discussions with educational authorities and professionals towards curriculum revamping and participating in discussions and initiatives related to language policy advocating for the importance of English language Teaching and its role in national development.

Collaboration, Friendship and Networking: Foster collaboration and strengthen the bond amongst English teachers and educators and with other educational institutions, and international organizations, and in so doing open opportunities for sharing of best practices in English language teaching and learning.
